Do you know the differences between LCD and DLP technology?
When choosing the right projector for each event, it is important to be aware of the differences between the two technologies. At first glance many projectors may seem similar, so we must rely on the image quality and the operation of themselves to understand the differences and the benefits it can bring one or another.
We will focus on two types of technology, DLP (Digital Light Processing) or LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). First of all, the first thing you should know is what you want to project, as is very different if are images, data, graphics … At DLP technology, these projectors can be a chip or three chip. This system uses a chip covered mirrors that rotate between two angles, one generates a bright pixel and the other a dark one. For color, it contains a disco, a color wheel, which rotates at high speed shaping the colorful images. This projector is ideal for data transmission in fixed installations due to the brightness and clarity offered.
In the case of LCD technology, it usually uses three small glass panels, one for each color, with a prism for transmitting the image. This system requires less power lamp than DLP. Overall the quality of a DLP is higher.
On issues of reliability, both projectors are safe and offer a large number of applications, are similar in performance and results. But if you still have doubts in Stereo Rent we will advise you for the best option.
